The things that were changed in the final treatment was the young girl Emma having an obsession with singing. Instead we changed this idea to the young girl having an obsession with acting instead. This was done as we felt it would make the story and understanding of the film better as it would flow together more as a whole since we later decided to put a wig in the opening, rather than a deodorant as a microphone. We did this as we felt a 'microphone' in the opening may give the singing story line away and make it too obvious, so a wig could suggest a variety of things, like maybe she wants to be a different person, but why.
